According to the IMD, Hyderabad will likely experience more intense rainfall in most parts. The Indian Meteorological Department has issued yellow and Orange alerts for various districts in Hyderabad.

Cyclone Montha over the west-central Bay of Bengal moved north-northwestwards with a speed of 12 kmph during the past 6 hours.
