GATE 2026 Result Link Expected Soon

GATE 2026 Result: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati will announce the results of the GATE 2026 soon. As per the official dates, the GATE Result will be announced on March 19, 2026. Once announced, candidates can check their result at the official website- gate2026.iitg.ac.in. Candidates must note that the GATE 2026 Scorecards will be released on March 27, 2026. Candidates must use their Enrollment ID/Email Address and Password to access the GATE 2026 Result. Interested candidates can access the live updates related to results available here.

GATE 2026 Result: Important Instructions

The important instructions related to the GATE Result 2026 are given below.

The result will display your marks out of 100, normalised GATE score (out of 1000), All India Rank (AIR), and the qualifying marks for your category.
The official GATE 2026 scorecard is distinct from the result and is required for admissions and PSU recruitments.
Official scorecards are only issued to candidates who score equal to or above the qualifying marks for their category in their respective papers.
The GATE Scorecard 2026 will be available for downloading for free from March 27 to May 31, 2026.
From June 1 to December 31, 2026, candidates must pay a fee of INR 500 per test paper to download the scorecard.
IIT Guwahati will not send hard copies of the scorecard by post. You must download the PDF and print it yourself for counseling (COAP/CCMT) and PSU recruitments.

Validity for GATE Scorecard

As per rules enforced by the exam conducting body, GATE scorecard will remain valid for three years from the date it is issued. Candidates should apply for PhD or PSU jobs within 3 year period.

What is the expected time for the publication of GATE 2026 results?
