CAT Exam Retake 2024: Students Who Should And Should Not Appear for CAT 2024

CAT Exam Retake 2024: Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow authorities announced the CAT Result 2023 on Dec 21, 2023. Therefore, interested candidates must weigh their pros and cons to plan whether they should apply for the CAT Exam Retake 2024.

Students must remember that there are MBA colleges that do not require one to qualify for the CAT exam, and they evaluate the candidates based on their profile. Additionally, there are other MBA entrance exams one can qualify for. However, if someone wishes to get admission into an IIM, they must apply for a CAT Retake. 

Note that to be considered eligible for CAT 2024, students must have an undergraduate degree. Further, the general category students should have graduated with 50%. Furthermore, the reserved category students must have scored 45% to be eligible. 

Students who have not scored well in the CAT result 2023 can consider applying for the CAT exam retake 2024. There is no limit to the number of times one can apply for CAT Exam Retake 2024. However, for most business schools the CAT result validity is for a year.
