APTET Exam 2024 Begins (July Session): The Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) is a mandatory examination for individuals aspiring to become teachers in government schools of Andhra Pradesh. The Commissioner of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh, is set to start the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test 2024 from October 3, 2024, to October 21, 2024, in two sessions. Session 1 will be from 9:30 AM - 12:00 PM, and session 2 will be from 2:30 PM - 5:00 PM. The APTET exam consists of two papers- Paper I for Primary Teachers and Paper II for Upper Primary and Secondary Teachers. Each paper is divided into four sections- Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I, Language II, and Mathematics/Social Studies. APTET Exam 2024 Guidelines
Here are some of the guidelines that the candidates must adhere to while appearing for the APTET Exam 2024.
- Candidates must download their Hall Tickets from the website- cse.ap.gov.in and keep multiple copies.
- Candidates must reach the exam centre one hour before the exam time.
- It is necessary to carry the APTET Admit Card, photo ID Card, passport-sized photographs (colour and black and white), and black and blue ballpoint pen.
- One must be aware of the exam pattern of APTET Exam 2024. It includes MCQs with four alternatives and one correct answer. Each question will carry One Mark and no negative marking.
- Persons with disabilities will get scribes and additional time (50 minutes) for the exam.
- Candidates can choose a subject they studied in the CBSE/ICSE up to class X for their Language 1 exam. However, language 2 which is English, is mandatory for every candidate.
- Candidates with multiple hall tickets should appear for the exam only in one allotted centre.
- The question paper will be bilingual for all languages except Sanskrit. For Sanskrit, the questions will be in Telugu, followed by Sanskrit in Devanagari script. For all other languages, the questions will be presented in English and the chosen language.
- Candidates with incorrect or missing photos on their hall tickets can approach the invigilator at the exam centre with two passport-sized photographs.
- According to the APTET Exam guideline, candidates can correct any errors in their hall tickets (name, parent's name, date of birth, category, gender, exam centre, photo, signature, mobile number, and Aadhaar number) at the exam centre.
APTET Exam 2024 Do’s and Don’ts
Candidates must go through the do’s and don’ts of the Andhra Pradesh Teacher’s Eligibility Test 2024 for a successful exam.
- Keep the APTET admit card safe even after the exam.
- Follow the instructions on the question paper strictly.
- Calculators and electronic devices such as watches or phones are not allowed at the exam centre.
- Candidates must review their answers and make any necessary corrections a few minutes before the exam concludes.
- It is strictly forbidden to cheat in the APTET Exam 2024. Any candidate found violating the exam rules will be subject to the provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Public Examination (Prevention of Malpractices and Unfair Means) Act, 1997.
Candidates should avoid getting anxious or distracted during the exam to maintain a positive mindset and focus on their strengths. It is strictly advisable to adhere to the rules and regulations set by the exam authorities.
