The seat allotment result will be available online at the official website- josaa.nic.in. Once the allotment is released, candidates for whom the seats are allotted must update their status of seat acceptance. The JoSAA seat acceptance process has three statuses like "Freeze", "Float", and "Slide".
The freeze option in JoSAA Counselling 2025 must be opted only if the candidate is completely satisfied with the current allocation. JoSAA Freeze After Round 1 Allotment 2025: Important Instructions
The important instructions related to JoSAA Round 1 Freeze after Seat Allotment are given below.
- Seat allotted candidates must carefully select the "Freeze" option. Choosing "Freeze" indicates the candidate is satisfied with the assigned college and program and does not want to participate in any further rounds of JoSAA Counseling 2025.
- Freeze option is mandatory for candidates who have been allotted seats based on their preference in choice filling process. Float and Slide option will not be applicable for such candidates. Candidates who fail to "Freeze" their options will be disqualified. Their seat allotment will be rejceted.
- Once a candidate selects "JoSAA Freeze After Round 1 Allotment 2025," their seat will be finalized. Such candidates must report to the allotted institute to confirm their admission.
- Candidates who opt to "Freeze" their seats must pay the seat acceptance fees of INR 35,000 or INR 17,500 depending upon their categories to confirm their admission.
