JoSAA Round 1 Seat Allotment 2025: With the ongoing JoSAA counselling for the first round, candidates who have registered and filled choices can access the seat allotment result. As per the schedule shared by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority, a direct download link to the allotment list will be available on the official portal. Those whose names appear on the seat allotment list can further accept or reject the seat offers by selecting freeze/ float/slide options.

Candidates, after checking their name on JoSAA seat allotment list 2025, can proceed to follow the next steps that have been mentioned below:

Step 1: Making a Decision: After accessing the seat allotment letter, candidates need to select from three options, including Freeze, Float, and Slide. To confirm the seat offer, the freeze option needs to be chosen, while to accept the seat alongside looking for better options, the float option can be selected. To completely reject the seat offered in round 1, the slide option can be selected.
Step 2: Uploading of Documents: The candidates are required to upload important documents, including class 10 & 12 marksheet, JEE Main admit card, and category certificates within the given deadline.
Step 3: Payment of Seat Acceptance Fee: The seat acceptance fee must be paid on or before June 18, 2025, for the first phase of counselling. General candidates need to pay INR 30,000 while other categories have to pay Rs 15,000. Besides the seat acceptance fee, additional processing charges of Rs 5,000 need to be paid.
