Education Budget 2025: Nirmala Sitaraman (Finance Minister) is representing the much-awaited Union Budget 2025 today in Feburary 2025. Multiple sectors like energy, infrastructure, development and more remain the key focus sectors including education and skill development. With the increase in the number of IIT enrollments, the government will be enhancing the overall infrastructure to provide more seats. Also in Budget 2025, Niramala Sitaram said that the government will be setting up the National Institute of Food and Technology in Patna. The recent budget also highlighted a major focus on setting AI infrastructure.

- The government will be launching the Bhartiya Bhasha Pustak Scheme which will enable access to the digital version of Indian language books
- FM Sitaraman also said that 50,000 Atal Tinkering Labs will be set up across India in the next 5 years for young minds
- Government Schools to get access to broadband connectivity
- National Institute of Food and Technology to be established in Bihar to enhance the farmer's income and create employment
- With Global expertise, the government will be setting up 5 National centres of excellence for skilling
- The government will be adding extra facilities for 6500 more students in IITs setup after 2014
- In the coming year, the government plans to add 10,000 more seats in medical colleges across India
- With a focus on AI government will be setting up 3 centers of excellence in AI with an outlay of 500 crores. The goal is to enhance our education system with AI Technology
