What’s Next After The Release Of AFCAT 2026 Result?
Once the release of the AFCAT Result 2026, selected candidates will have to go through a rigorous multi-stage selection process. Once qualified, candidates must take these steps:
- After the result, the IAF will activate the seat selection window on official portal. Selected candidates must log in and choose their preferred Air Force Selection Board (AFSB) centre and a specific date slot.

This can take 4 to 7 days.
Students who clear the written exam, personal interview, and medical test will receive a joining letter and instructions to report to the Air Force Academy (AFA) in Dundigal, Hyderabad, for training starting in January 2027.
