School Holiday in Himachal Pradesh: With India facing the rainfall problem, Himachal Pradesh is also one of the states battling the consequences of heavy rainfall. There have been reports that the water level of the Beas River in the Mandi district has increased due to the ongoing rainfall situation in the state, where people can notice almost a flood-like situation, hampering the neighbouring areas. For August 1, 2024, the Government of Himachal Pradesh has warned the people residing in the state to stay away from any riverbanks until the situation is under control. With so many new incidents being reported every hour due to the severe weather conditions in HP, candidates can expect that a School Holiday in Himachal Pradesh tomorrow may be announced by those districts under orange and yellow alert.

According to the official website of the India Meteorological Department, the Met Centre Shimla has updated that there may not be any more orange alerts after August 2, 2024. Therefore, until August 2, 2024, very heavy rainfall will occur in the districts where orange and yellow alerts have been predicted. Candidates must note that only the areas under orange and yellow alerts may be provided with a School Holiday in Himachal Pradesh to ensure that the students are safe in these drastic weather conditions.

There is no official confirmation from the authorities regarding a School Holiday in Himachal Pradesh for August 2, 2024. Therefore, candidates may expect that the following districts given below that may be under orange and yellow alert may announce a holiday:
