Tamil Nadu NEET UG Rank List 2025 (Released)

Tamil Nadu NEET UG Rank List 2025: The Directorate of Medical Education and Research, Tamil Nadu, published the rank list for NEET UG qualified candidates on its website. The merit list is made available in PDF format for public view, so candidates do not need to log in to download the merit list. Candidates can check their name, NEET rank, and Common Rank from the rank list. Only those included in the rank cum merit list will be eligible for the counseling process. 

The rank list has been prepared considering the performance of candidates in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for UG. To avoid any tie situation in case two or more students secure the same score, DME adopted tie-breaking policies for maintaining fairness in the selection process. Tamil Nadu Rank List 2025 for NEET UG: Tie Breaking Rules

DME Tamil Nadu rank list 2025 for NEET UG has been prepared taking into account some tie-breaking rules to avoid situations where two or more candidates score the same marks. Discover these tie-breaking criteria below:

• The first preference will be given to students securing top scores in biology in a tie situation.
• If the tie still exists,the  chemistry score will be considered. Those with higher marks in chemistry will be given a high merit rank.
• If the tie still exists, the physics score will be given priority.
• If the tie still exists after following the above three conditions, then candidates with fewer incorrect responses in NEET UG will be given a high rank.
