NEET UG Counselling 2024 to Begin After July 25: Final Result in Two Days

NEET UG Counselling 2024: The much-awaited NEET UG counselling is set to commence after July 25, 2024, with the final result of the entrance exam expected to be declared within the next two days. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will oversee the NEET UG Counselling 2024 process for the 15% All India Quota seats in government and private medical colleges in the country.

Candidates who have successfully qualified for the NEET UG 2024 exam will be eligible to participate in the counselling process. The NEET UG counselling 2024 process will consist of four main stages: registration, choice filling, seat allotment, document verification, and reporting to the allotted college.

NEET UG Counselling 2024 Expected Date

Candidates can check the expected date of NEET UG Counselling 2024 in the table below.

The registration fee for counselling is Rs 1000/- for General, OBC, and EWS candidates, while it is Rs 500/- for SC, ST, and PwD candidates. Candidates must achieve a minimum percentile to be eligible for NEET UG counselling. General category candidates must secure at least the 50th percentile, while SC/ST/OBC candidates must attain a minimum of the 40th percentile. Candidates with benchmark disabilities shall achieve at least the 45th percentile in the NEET-UG 2024 exam. 

A total of 1,09,145 MBBS, 27,868 BDS, and around 1,000 BSc Nursing seats will be allocated through the MCC NEET UG Counselling 2024. The entire NEET UG counselling process is expected to span four to five months, with approximately six rounds based on the available vacant seats.
