NEET PG Counselling 2024 Update: Aspirants Files Appeal Against NBME Demanding Answer Key

NEET PG Counselling 2024 Update: As the NEET PG Counselling registration is scheduled to commence soon, around 19 NEET PG aspirants have moved to the Supreme Court against the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS). The aspirants are demanding that the NBE release the answer key, response sheet, and details of pre-normalised scores of the exams for the sake of transperancy. The NEET PG Counselling 2024 Update is that the SC will hear the case of the petitioners in on September 13.
However, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) which is responsible for conducting the counselling for the NEET PG exam has not announced any changes in the schedule that was released earlier. Unless order from the court, the MCC will conduct the counselling as per the schedule and will open the NEET PG Counselling Registration 2024 on September 20. The NEET PG SC court case will be heard by the court and based on the decision made my the preciding bench, there maybe changes to the counselling dates that the candidates will be intimated about.

NEET PG Counselling 2024 Update: SC to Hear Candidate's Petition, Counselling Process to Begin Soon
In the NEET PG Supreme Court case, the candidates are demanding in their petition that details of the normalisation method that has been used by the NBEMS to prepare the NEET PG results be released to the public. The candidates are seeking to get the response and answer sheet of all candidates along with the raw or pre-normalised and the normalised scores so that they can get clarity. They are further demanding that the NBEMS provide them an option for revaluation.
The petitioners have also requested the SC in the petition for the answer key, question paper and the option of revaluation to be released in the furture. They say that this will ensure the transperancy of the examination and evaluation process.
