Assam NEET PG 2025 Final Round Registration: The Assam PG 2025 counselling round is ongoing. The registration process for the final round of postgraduate medical seats will open on February 20, 2026. Students can register themselves through the Assam DTE portal.
The final round is being conducted to fill MD, MS, and PG Diploma seats. The portal will remain open on February 20, 2026, until 11:59 PM. The online choice filling and choice locking will be done on February 21, 2026, while the seat allotment process will be carried out on February 22, 2026.
Only the remaining unfilled seats are available in the Assam NEET PG stray vacancy round 2025. The vacant seats are because of the following reasons:
- Seats were not filled out in Round 1 and Round 2 counselings.
- Seats are vacant, as many students withdraw later.
- Leftover seats, as the student did not turn up for verification.
Students can check the exact number of seats for the stray vacancy while registering for it. They can check the seat matrix document on the counselling portal of Assam DTE. It will be made available subject-wise and college-wise.
The vacant seat number may change even at the last moment depending on the last-minute reporting or cancellations.

The participating institutes of Assam NEET PG 2025 Final Round seat allotment are as follows:
- Assam Medical College, Dibrugarh
- Gauhati Medical College & Hospital, Guwahati
- Silchar Medical College, Silchar
There are various other state government colleges that have remaining seats vacant. The exact list for the participating colleges will be notified when the registration begins.
