NEET Counselling 2025: With the declaration of the medical entrance result on June 14, 2025, the next concern for students is certainly counselling. Though there’s no official update regarding the tentative schedule of counselling. However, by analysing the previous trends, students can expect the counselling registration to begin either at the end of July or the first week of August.

Through counselling, admission to various UG programmes such as MBBS, BDS, and others will be offered. To participate in the NEET UG counselling, a candidate must clear the qualifying cutoff determined by the National Testing Agency. Stages in NEET UG Counselling Process 2025

Here are the stages through which candidates need to go during NEET UG counseling process:

Registration: Candidates qualifying NEET should register for the counseling within the given timeline. They need to provide personal and academic information.
Choice Filling & Locking: After completing registration, candidates have to fill in course and college choices and lock them before the deadline.
Seat Allotment: During the seat allotment process, those offered a seat must accept or reject it. Candidates accepting the seat must pay a seat acceptance fee and report to the college.
