As the Maharashtra DSE CAP First Round Seat Allotment 2024 is being released, here are the steps that will follow:
- Candidates who have been allotted a seat must self-verify the allotment by confirming their claims and that documents are accurate between August 21 and 23.
- In case there are any errors in allotment, they can be reported online through the candidate's login.
- Candidates who have been allotted a seat can respond to the seat allotment in the following ways:
- If a candidate has been allotted their first preference, they must proceed to pay the acceptance fee. These candidates will not be eligible to participate in further rounds.
- A candidate may choose to accept a non-first preference seat (self-freeze), in which case they must pay the fee. They also will be not be able to join the later rounds.
- If a candidate seeks for a better option, they can accept the current allotment (not freeze) and pay the fee online.
- If the candidates has chosen to "Freeze" their seat, choosing either of the first two options, they must report to allotted institute for confirmation of admission between August 21 and 23.
- The Institute will verify the candidate's application and the required documents following which they will upload the admission of the candidates in the online system through Institute Login. Then, they will issue a system generated receipt of confirmation of admission and fee paid receipt to the candidate. However, in case any discrepancies are found in the application or the documents, they seat allotted to the candidate will be cancelled.
