The authorities will release the JoSAA Second Seat Allotment 2025 on the official website - josaa.nic.in. Further, along with the JoSAA Round 2 Cutoff 2025, the JoSAA Round 2 Cutoff 2025 ranks for NIT, IIT, IIIT, and GFTIs will be available. The cutoff ranks will be in the form of the JoSAA opening and closing ranks for all the institutes and branches.

JoSAA Round 2 Cutoff 2025: Admission criteria for IIT

Aspirants wish to secure seats in IIT can check the admission criteria for IIT

Candidates must have passed the Class 12th from recognised boards in 2024 or 2025.
Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are compulsory subjects in the first appearance.
Candidates must have 75% aggregate marks in the Class XII Board examination. For SC, ST and PwD candidates the aggregate marks is at least 65%. Or They must be within the category-wise top 20 percentile of successful candidates in their respective Class XII (or equivalent) board examination.

JoSAA Round 2 Cutoff 2025: Steps to exit JoSAA Counselling

Candidates can follow this process to the Exit option from the seat allocation process of JoSAA 2025:

Candidates must login to the JoSAA portal and create an EXIT request.
Candidates will receive an OTP on their mobile number and email ID.
The candidate will proceed to enter this OTP to confirm that they wanted to EXIT from the seat allocation process.
A warning will be displayed on the screen that they will not be allowed to participate in further rounds of JoSAA 2025 counselling.
On submitting the appropriate responses on the check boxes and clicking on Submit, the candidate confirms that he/she has exited from the seat allocation process.
The request shall then be processed online, and the candidate shall then exit.
