Types of Choices After Release of CLAT Selection List 2026
Here are some choices that candiadets need to select after the declaration of CLAT 2026 selection list:
- Freeze: This option refers to the final confirmation of the allotted seat by the candidates. Those freezing their seats must pay the requisite confirmation fee using any online payment gateway.
- Float: If any candidate is not offered a seat as per their first preference, they can choose the float option. By choosing the float option, they can look for better NLU preferences in the subsequent rounds.
- Exit: Candidates who, after registering for counselling, wish not to participate in the counselling process can select the exit option.
Those choosing the freeze and float option should pay the confirmation fee between January 7 and 15, 2026; otherwise, their admission will be cancelled.
