KCET Counselling Dates 2024: The Karnataka Common Entrance Test is a common entrance exam for admission in several undergraduate courses in Karnataka state and it is an annual exam. The conductor authority of Karnataka Examination Authority, also known as KEA. Candidates who appear in the KCET exam can take admission in engineering, pharmacy, agriculture, food technology, medicine, forestry, horticulture, yoga and naturopathy, and other allied courses. The KCET exam is an offline exam where candidates need to answer a multiple-choice question paper of 180 marks. The question paper or KCET has four sections which are physics, chemistry, biology, and mathematics. As the exam was already conducted this year, candidates are eagerly waiting for the start of KCET 2024 counselling.
Due to some unavoidable circumstances, KCET counselling 2024 has not been released yet by the authority. The NEET controversy is the main reason due to which the counselling session is not declared by the KEA. There are some other factors too which make the counselling process delayed this year.

KCET Counselling Dates 2024: Why Is It Being Delayed?
All KCET aspirants can go through these factors which are the main reason for delayed KCET counselling 2024.
- NEET issue: This year, the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test faced some malpractices like paper leaks in some exam centres. Also, there are some cases of impersonation and irregularities. All these reasons make NEET 2024 controversial and the result is not out yet. As KCET 2024 is a common exam for medical and other courses and students from the NEET exam also take part in the counselling, the authority couldn't start the counselling till now.
- Pharmacy seat matrix is not released: The seat matrix for pharmacy courses is not released officially. The seat matrix declares a clear idea about the vacant seats in any course in any college. As the authority is not sure about the vacancy of pharmacy seats, they don't release the pharmacy seat matrix.
- Agricultural seat matrix is not released: The same way, the agricultural seat matrix has not been released yet. Candidates are unable to know about the vacant seat numbers in undergraduate agricultural courses.
- The fee structure is not declared: KEA also didn't release the proper fee structure for their undergraduate courses.
