According to the reports, the KCET Round 1 Counselling 2024 Expected Start Date is in the last week of July. The counselling process will include counselling registration, document verification, choice filling, option entry, seat allotment, and college reporting. The authorities will release the KCET Round 1 Counselling 2024 schedule on the official website- cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.

| Latest Update 1: Karnataka Examination Authority has not released the option entry dates but released the official fee structure and seat matrix for the engineering course. Based on the previous year's trends KEA activated the option entry link 3 -4 days after the announcement of the seat matrix. Hence candidates can expect the option entry to start soon. |
After the KCET Round 1 Counselling 2024 dates are released, qualifying candidates will be processed with the counselling registration followed by document verification using the verification slip generated. After this, candidates will be filling their college and course preferences in order of their priority. The mock seat allotment will be released based on the candidate's priority and seat availability. Candidates can change/add/modify/re-arrange the college options after the mock seat allotment is released. Then, the authorities will release the KCET Round 1 seat allotment results, based on which the candidates securing seats will report to the college.
