UP NEET PG Merit List 2025: The Directorate General of Medical Education and Training, Uttar Pradesh, has scheduled the release of the state common merit list today, November 10, 2025, after 2 PM. Registered candidates will only be considered for the preparation of merit cum rank list. Those mentioned on the merit list are only eligible to participate in the choice filling process.
To check the merit list, candidates can visit the online portal and enter their required credentials to verify whether their name is included on the merit list. Tie-Breaking Rules to prepare UP NEET PG Merit List 2025
When preparing Uttar Pradesh NEET PG merit list 2025, often two or more students secure similar scores, and to avoid a tie situation, the following tie-breaking rules are adopted:
- Candidates who have marked fewer wrong responses in all three sections will secure a higher rank.
- If the tie remains, the candidates with fewer negative answers in Section A will be given top priority in the rank list.
- If the tie still exists, candidates who have scored a higher aggregate score in MBBS professional examinations will be assigned the top rank.
- Lastly, older candidates will be given higher preference.
Candidates can check their name, NEET roll number, marks, merit rank, and category, among others, on UP NEET merit list 2025. Those with names included in the merit list can begin filling out choices for seat allotment.
