• MCC assigns seats to candidates based on their rank, choices, and the seat matrix for the first round of counseling. This occurs after candidates have completed registration and choice filling.
• MCC uses a merit-based algorithm to allot seats. It considers the candidate's NEET PG rank, the choices they entered, and the available seat matrix for each category.
• MCC checks for seat availability for each choice in the order of priority the candidate selected.
• The NEET PG Round 1 Seat Allotment Result 2025 will be announced by MCC after considering all the above factors.
• Candidates who are allotted a seat in Round 1 must then report to the assigned college to complete the admission formalities from November 9 to 15, 2025. 
• Candidates not allotted a seat in Round 1 are automatically eligible for Round 2 and can fill fresh choices in that round. Those who are allotted a seat but do not join can opt for a "free exit" without penalty in Round 1 and participate in subsequent rounds.
