National Scholarship Portal Application: The Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India will close the window to apply to be a benificiary of the National Scholarship Scheme on Dec 31. The NSP Scholarship for disabled students is awarded at the pre-metric, post-matric and Top Class Education levels. The National Scholarship Portal Application is open at the official website: scholarships.gov.in

National Scholarship Portal Application: How to Apply?
The steps to complete the National Scholarship Portal Application process are given below:
- Visit the official website of the National Scholarship Portal: scholarships.gov.in
- Click on the tab for the "New Registration"
- Enter the candidates details and complete the registration process
- Once registered, candidates will receive their application ID and password via SMS
- Use the login credentials to login
- Once logged in, proceed to the final submission of the application
Candidates can follow similar steps for fresh applications and renewal applications. The candidates must note down the application ID and password and keep it safe as they will need it for the renewal process.

What is NSP Academic Year 2023-24?
The Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Government of India offers the "Scheme of Scholarships for Students with Disabilities”. The NSP AY 2023-24 is awarded to deserving candidates that pursue education at different levels. A broad introduction of the scheme is given below:

The percentage of reservation for female candidates are Pre-Matric, Post-Matric and Top Class Education are 50% while for the national overseas, the reservation is 30%.
