Jharkhand NMMS Exam Date 2023 Deferred Due to Indispensable Reasons: New Date Soon

Jharkhand NMMS Exam Date 2023: The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has postponed the Jharkhand National Means Cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) exam 2023 due to indispensable reasons. Previously, the Jharkhand NMMS exam 2023 was scheduled to be held on Dec 17.

JAC will soon announce the Jharkhand NMMS exam date 2023. The official notification released by JAC stated "National Means Cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) exam 2023 scheduled for December 17 has been postponed. The exam has been postponed due to indispensable reasons. The new exam dates will be announced in due course of time".

Class 9 to 12 students who clear the Jharkhand NMMS examination 2023 will be eligible to receive the scholarship of INR 12,000. Additionally, students belonging to private schools, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Sainik schools are not eligible to apply for the Jharkhand NMMS scholarship examination.

Students applying must have scored a minimum of 55% in class 11. Those applying for class 9 scholarship must have scored a minimum of 55% in their qualifying class 8 exam. To receive scholarship in class 10, students must clear their class 9 exam. To secure a scholarship for class 11 and 12, students must score a minimum of 60% marks in class 10 and 11 exams.

Students who have registered for the Jharkhand NMMS Exam 2023 must wait for the official exam dates which will be announced by the Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) soon.
