Kerala School Holiday: The severe weather conditions and heavy rainfall across Kerala is expected to be followed by a holiday for schools on Aug 3, 2024. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued orange and yellow alerts for various districts in Kerala which increases the probability of Kerala School Holiday. The recent weather forecast has predicted an above normal rainfall for the north and central Kerala whereas for south Kerala, below normal rainfall has been predicted. Districts of Thrissur, Malappuram, Kannur, Wayanad, Kasaragod, Palakkad, and Kozhikode declared a holiday on August 2 due to the weather conditions. The school authorities have announced a holiday in the past few days due to the extremely heavy rainfall. Students must remember that the latest reports state that, there will be no change in the examination dates which have already been scheduled for.
