JoSAA Round 3 Seat Allotment Result 2025: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) is set to release the Round 3 Seat Allotment Result 2025 today, July 2, 2025, on the official website - josaa.nic.in. According to the official schedule, the JoSAA Round 3 Seat Allotment Result 2025 will be released at 10:00 AM. Candidates will be required to log in using their application number and password to check their Round 3 allotment status. JoSAA Round 3 Seat Allotment Acceptance Process

After the JoSAA Round 3 Seat Allotment is released, candidates must make a decision and choose one of the following options - Freeze, Slide, or Float - for their academic program in any subsequent rounds of JoSAA seat allocation:

• Freeze: By selecting “Freeze,” the candidate accepts the offered seat and confirms satisfaction with the allocated academic program. The candidate will not participate in any further rounds of JoSAA 2025 and will retain the same seat. 
• Float: Choosing “Float” means the candidate accepts the offered seat and is willing to be considered for admission to a higher-preference academic program at any Institute in subsequent rounds. If no higher preference is offered, the candidate will continue with the accepted academic program. 
• Slide: Selecting “Slide” means the candidate accepts the offered seat and is open to being allocated a higher-preference academic program within the same Institute in later rounds of seat allocation. Candidates who choose “Slide” will also be considered in subsequent rounds of JoSAA 2025.

Candidates must be ready with the required educational and personal documents to submit for the seat acceptance process. Also, candidates need to pay the seat acceptance fee of Rs 15,000 (for SC, ST, GEN-PwD, GEN-EWS-PwD, OBC-NCL-PwD, SC-PwD or ST-PwD) and Rs 30, 000 (for all other candidates) to complete the seat acceptance process.
