JoSAA Round 1 Seat Allotment 2024: Joint Seat Allocation Authority is scheduled to release the JoSAA Round 1 Seat Allotment 2024 result today, Jun 20. As per the official schedule, reconciliation of data, verification, and validation of the applications submitted by the candidates was completed yesterday, Jun 19. Further, the seat allotment result will be released.

What to Do After JoSAA Round 1 Seat Allotment 2024?
After JoSAA Round 1 Seat Allotment 2024 has been released, those candidates who are allotted a seat will have to proceed to complete the following steps:
- After the release of the seat allotment, the online reporting process will begin
- Candidates who are allotted a seat will have to respond to the allotment in one of the 3 ways mentioned below:
- Freeze: candidate accepts the offered seat
- Float: candidate accepts the that seat has been offered, but will participated in the subsequent rounds of seat allocation and if a seat of higher preference is offered, they will accept it
- Slide: candidate accepts the offered seat and in case a higher preference seat in the same Institute is offered in the subsequent rounds of seat allocation, the candidate will accept it.
- Next, they will have to make the fee payment for seat acceptance before Jun 24
- Then upload the required documents for verification
- In case the verification officers raise any queries, the candidates must answer them
- The issues pertaining to the fee payment will be rectified by Jun 25
- The last day to respond to all queries will be Jun 26
Further, JoSAA Round 2 Seat Allotment 2024 will be released on Jun 27 for eligible candidates.
