- JEE Main Admit Card: A printed copy of the JEE Main 2025 admit card with the candidate's photograph affixed is mandatory.
- Self Declaration: Download from the NTA Website duly filled in by the candidate. Take 2-3 clear prints out on A4 size paper.
- Valid Photo Identification: Carry an original and valid photo ID proof such as an Aadhaar card, PAN card, driving license, School Identity Card, Ration Card with Photograph, Class 12 Board Admit Card with Photograph, Bank Passbook with Photograph, or passport for verification.
- Passport Size Photographs: Carry 2-3 extra passport-sized photographs (same as the one on the admit card) as a precautionary measure.
- Disability Certificate: PwD candidates must carry PwD / PwD certificate issued by the authorized medical officer (if claiming the relaxation under PwD/PwBD category) OR PwD / PwBD Certificate regarding physical limitation in an examination to write as per Annexures given in Information Bulletin (if claiming the relaxation under PwD / PwBD category).
- Transparent Water Bottle: A transparent water bottle is generally permitted, but it should be empty upon entry to the examination hall.
- Health Conditions: Students with specific health conditions requiring food or water during the examination must present a written document from a registered government doctor. This document will serve as authorization to carry and consume necessary items within the examination hall.
- Ball Pen: Simple transparent blue ball pens are allowed.

JEE Main Session 1 Things to Avoid Inside Exam Hall 2025
Candidates also must know about the things they are not allowed to carry inside the examination hall. A strict list of prohibited items is enforced within the JEE Main exam hall:
- Electronic Devices: Mobile phones, earphones, smartwatches, calculators, cameras, tape recorders, and any other electronic gadgets are strictly prohibited.
- Stationery: Instruments, exam boards, geometry boxes, pencil boxes, handbags, purses, any paper, stationery, textual material, rough sheets, and study materials are not allowed.
- Eatables: Any type of eatables (like chewing gum, chocolates, chips, sandwiches, etc. ) are prohibited. However, candidates suffering from diabetes will be allowed to carry eatables inside the exam hall, such as sugar tablets/fruits (like bananas/apples/oranges), only after showing the written document as proof regarding their health condition from the registered government doctor with their sign and stamp.
- Other Items: Eatables, water (except for the transparent water bottle), pagers, document holders, slide rules, log tables, metallic items, and any other electronic devices are strictly prohibited.
- Candidates are NOT allowed to wear any type of rings, chain or earrings, wear caps and closed footwear, and put Mehendi in hand.
Candidates must adhere to the above-mentioned guidelines for the JEE Main Paper (BE/B.Tech)1. Candidates are advised to reach the exam centre well in advance of the reporting time to avoid any last-minute rush.
