JEE Main 2026 Registration: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has launched the official website for JEE Main 2026. JEE aspirants are now waiting for the JEE Main 2026 Registration to start. The authorities will commence registration for JEE Main 2026 soon, on the official website - jeemain.nta.nic.in, but before that, candidates must check the advisory for the Aadhar card and other required documents. Candidates can check the official website for the notification regarding an updated Aadhaar Card, a valid UDID card (for disabled candidates), and an updated category certificate.
As soon as the JEE Main 2026 Registration Date is released, the same will be updated here. Previously, the JEE Main 2026 session 1 Registration and Application Form was released on November 1, 2025. Based on previous trends, candidates can expect the registration form for JEE Main 2026 in the last week of October 2025. The exam has no age restriction. However, the candidate should have passed or be appearing for Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths with a minimum of 75% marks (65% for SC/ST).

JEE Main 2026 Registration Details
Here are some details regarding the JEE Main Exam 2026 and Registration process that students must keep in mind.
- JEE Main 2026 will be held in two sessions – session 1 in January and session 2 in April 2026.
- The JEE Main Exam is conducted for BTech. and BArch. aspirants.
- The JEE Main Exam includes two papers – Paper-1, which is for BE and B.Tech courses, and Paper-2 for BArch, B.Planning courses.
- The Candidates are allowed to take the exam six times (two attempts a year).
- The NTA will commence the registration for session 1 first.
- Once the registration link is activated, candidates will visit the official website and access the registration form.
- To complete the registration, candidates will be required to pay the application fee, upload documents, and choose preferred exam cities.
- The registration fee may vary according to the candidate’s category (General/OBC/SC/ST).
- The exam for Paper-1 (BE/B.Tech) and Paper 2B (Planning) will be conducted in CBT mode; whereas, the Paper 2A (BArch) Mathematics (Part 1) and Aptitude Test (Part 2) will be held in CBT mode, while the drawing test will be conducted in an offline mode.

JEE Main 2026 Registration: How To Apply For Registration?
Candidates can follow these steps to complete the registration and application for JEE Main 2026:
- Visit the JEE Main website - jeemain.nta.nic.in
- Scroll down to the "New Candidate Registration" Link.
- Fill in the basic registration details, including name, date of birth, email ID, and mobile number.
- Save the password and submit it to obtain the application number.
- Log in using the application number and password.
- Complete the application form with personal information, educational qualifications, and preferred examination.
- Upload the necessary documents in the prescribed format.
- Choose the convenient cities for the examination (candidates can choose a maximum of four cities as per preference).
- Pay the application fee through online mode (credit card, debit card, net banking, or UPI).

- Scanned Photograph (80% face (without mask) visible, including ears, against a white background, 10 kb to 300 kb)

- OBC-NCL, EWS, SC/ST Category Certificates (if Required)
