JEE Main 2026 Registration: The National Testing Agency will commence the registration for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) 2026 soon, on the official website - jeemain.nta.nic.in. According to official updates, the JEE Main 2026 Registration will commence in October 2025.
While the authorities have not yet released the JEE Main 2026 Registration dates, candidates can expect them anytime soon. The agency will update the registration dates and exam schedule on the official portal. Engineering aspirants can check the JEE Main 2026 Registration Live Updates for recent information.
In the recent update on the JEE Main 2026 Official Website Launched, the NTA has advised candidates to update their documents in advance before the JEE Main 2026 Registration and Application Form submission starts. This is done to help students avoid any discrepancies or grievances at a later stage.

JEE Main 2026 Registration Details
Here is some important information about JEE Main 2026 that candidates must know before the registration starts:
- Candidates must update their Adhaar Card with the correct name, date of birth as per class 10th certificate, father’s name, latest photograph, and address details.
- People with disabilities must keep their UDID Card ready.
- Aspirants must update and their latest category certificates (EWS/SC/ST/OBC-NCL).
- The JEE Main comprises two papers. Paper 1 is for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs (B.E. / B. Tech.)
- The JEE Main paper 2 is for admission to B. Arch and B. Planning courses.
- The JEE Main 2025 exam will be conducted in two sessions - first in January 2026 and the second session will be in April 2026.
- Candidates must note that the exam will likely be held in two shifts- first shift from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and second shift from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
- The candidates will be given the opportunity to apply separately for the session 2 exam.
- Candidates need to pay the registration fee through online payment gateways only.
- The JEE Main exam is conducted for admission to NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), and Institutions / Universities funded / recognized by participating State Governments.
