Here is some important information about JEE Main 2026 that candidates must know before the registration starts:
- Candidates must update their Adhaar Card with the correct name, date of birth as per class 10th certificate, father’s name, latest photograph, and address details.
- People with disabilities must keep their UDID Card ready.
- Aspirants must update and their latest category certificates (EWS/SC/ST/OBC-NCL).
- The JEE Main comprises two papers. Paper 1 is for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs (B.E. / B. Tech.)
- The JEE Main paper 2 is for admission to B. Arch and B. Planning courses.
- The JEE Main 2025 exam will be conducted in two sessions - first in January 2026 and the second session will be in April 2026.
- Candidates must note that the exam will likely be held in two shifts- first shift from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and second shift from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
- The candidates will be given the opportunity to apply separately for the session 2 exam.
- Candidates need to pay the registration fee through online payment gateways only.
