ICAR Counselling Registration 2025: The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) is set to start the counselling process for admission to UG, PG, and PhD courses. According to the ICAR Counselling Dates 2025, the authorities will commence the counselling registration process today, October 14, 2025. Only those candidates who complete the registration will be eligible to participate in the choice-filling and seat allotment process. It is important to note that the choice-filling process is a one-time option. Candidates will not be allowed to fill their college preferences in each round except the final/mop-up round.
Therefore, candidates are advised to go through the ICAR UG/PG/PhD seat matrix 2025 for shortlisting colleges according to their preferences. The last date to complete the counselling registration, choice-filling, and document uploading is October 17, 2025, by 11:50 P.M.

Important Instructions For ICAR Counselling Registration 2025
Candidates must go through the important instructions before proceeding to complete the ICAR 2025 Counselling Registration form.
- The ICAR Counselling Registration Form 2025 will be available only on the official website - icarcounseling.com/.
- The candidate will be required to sign a Declaration and Undertaking at the time of registration to participate in the ICAR 2025 counselling process.
- Candidates must fill in their correct details. If the candidate’s information is found to be fraudulent, incorrect, or untrue at any stage, the seat allotted (if any) will be cancelled without any further reference, and the Seat Acceptance Fee paid shall be forfeited.
- There is a non-refundable counselling fee of Rs 500. Candidates will pay the counselling fee through an online payment gateway by using their Credit Card / RuPay Debit Card / Netbanking or UPI within the specified period.
- It may take 24 hours to reflect the successful fee payment. Therefore, candidates are advised not to panic.
- The last date to complete the registration is October 17, 2025, till 11:50 P.M.
- After completing the registration, candidates will receive their login credentials through SMS / Email.

Here are the eligibility criterias for ICAR UG Counselling:
- The candidate must be an Indian citizen.
- Must be at least 16 years old as of August 31, 2025.
- Candidates must have passed Class 12 (Science stream) with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics/Agriculture as compulsory subjects.
- A minimum of 50% marks is required for the general category, while SC/ST/PwD candidates require 40% marks.
- Students must have appeared and qualified the CUET UG 2025 exam.

- Use the credentials to log in.
- Click on ‘Available Choices’ to see the colleges available for your course.
- Select the desired institutes.
- Arrange the choices in order of preference.
- Save and lock the choices before the deadline.
Candidates must note that they can’t change the lock choices. However, they can just save the college preferences and lock them before the deadline.
