DU CSAS 3 Lakh Candidate Signup for Counselling Round 2025: As per a recent notification, 3,05,357 candidate signups were recorded right from the start of the counselling registration. Out of the registered students, 2,39,890 candidates have submitted their college and program preferences for 71,642 seats across 79 undergraduate programs in 69 colleges and departments for the DU CSAS 2025. The DU CSAS 3 Lakh Candidate Signup for Counselling Round 2025 is the highest number of applications received by DU in recent years.
In Phase II of the CSAS process, candidates had to submit their preferences for programs and colleges. A whopping 1.68 crore unique college-program combinations were selected. On average, each candidate opted for 83 preferences, with the highest being 1,414.

Shri Ram College of Commerce emerged as the top preference among applicants, receiving 38,795 first-choice applications. Hindu College, Hansraj College, St. Stephen's College, and Miranda House rounded out the top five most sought-after institutions.

Following the DU CSAS 3 Lakh Candidate Signup for Counselling Round 2025, the simulated ranks were held on July 15, 2025. These ranks are based on preferences submitted until July 14, 2025 until the announcement of the final allocations. Students have until 11:59 PM on July 16, 2025, to modify or rearrange their college preferences.
