CSIR NET 2024 Exam for June Session Postponed by NTA: Revised Schedule to be Announced Soon

CSIR NET 2024 Exam: National Testing Agency (NTA) postponed the Council of Science and Industrial Research National Eligibility Test (CSIR NET) 2024 for June 2024 today, which was set to be conducted from Jun 25, 2024, to Jun 27, 2024. According to the conducting authority, the decision to defer the CSIR NET 2024 Exam has been taken due to 'unavoidable circumstances as well as logistic issues'.

Through the CSIR NET 2024 Exam, the qualified candidates will be able to determine their eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professor positions in various institutions in India and provide admission to various PhD programs. It is important to note that the CSIR UGC NET Exam 2024 has been postponed due to the ongoing UGC NET 2024 cancellation issue, which had occurred because the exam's integrity was compromised, which led to the speculations about a possible 'paper leak'.

Following the recent announcement of the CSIR NET 2024 Exam postponement, many students and professors are concerned about the delay in PhD admissions in India. According to the official notification on the CSIR NET website, it states, "The candidates are hereby informed that the Joint CSIR-UGC-NET Examination June-2024, which was scheduled to be held between 25.06.2024 to 27.06.2024 is being postponed due to unavoidable circumstances as well as logistic issues. The revised schedule for the conduct of this examination will be announced later through the official website."
