The institution-wise percentage of pass candidates for CBSE Class 12th in JNVs, KVs, CTSA, etc. in 2024 is as follows:

If a student wants to apply for the re-evaluation of their answer sheets, the application must be submitted within the due date mentioned by the exam conducting authority. After the due date, no request for the re-evaluation of the answer sheets will be entertained.
A candidate will be considered as a failed candidate if he/ she fails to score at least 33% marks in each subject. However, they can appear in the same paper for the compartment exam.
Students who are not satisfied with their marks secured in the final exam even after verifying their answer sheets can apply for the re-evaluation of answers. For the re-evaluation of each answer, students need to pay INR 100 for each answer.
A student who is not satisfied with the marks secured by him/ her in the final exam can apply for the photocopy of the answer sheets after publication of the CBSE Class 12th result. For this application, all the students who are applying, must pay Rs. 700 for each subject.
To pass the CBSE Class 12th exam, a student must score at least 33% marks in each subject. Each student has to pass in the theory paper and the internal assessment to pass the CBSE Class 12th exam.
The timeline for the re-evaluation of the answer paper window will open after the publication of the results. Once the results are published, the students will be able to apply for the re-evaluation of answer papers within the due date.

The CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average) is calculated in two steps.
- Calculate the sum of all the grade points scored by a candidate.
- After that, divide this sum by the total number of subjects and you will get the CGPA.
To secure a grade of ‘E2’, a candidate must have scored between 0 and 20 marks in any subject in the CBSE Class 12th Exam.
Candidates must have scored between 21 and 32 marks in any subject in the CBSE Class 12th Exam to secure a grade of ‘E1’.
A candidate who has secured ‘D’ grade in any paper of the CBSE Class 12th Exam should have scored between 33 and 40 marks in that exam.
To secure a grade of ‘C2’, a candidate must have scored between 41 and 50 marks in any subject in the CBSE Class 12th Exam.
Candidates must have scored between 51 and 60 marks in any subject in the CBSE Class 12th Exam to secure a grade of ‘C1’.
A candidate who has secured ‘B2’ grade in any paper of the CBSE Class 12th Exam should have scored between 61 and 70 marks in that exam.
Candidates must have scored between 71 and 80 marks in any subject in the CBSE Class 12th Exam to secure a grade of ‘B1’.
To secure a grade of ‘A2’, a candidate must have scored between 81 and 90 marks in any subject in the CBSE Class 12th Exam.
A candidate who has secured a grade of ‘D’ in any subject in the CBSE Class 12th exam will be awarded a grade point of ‘4’ in that subject.
In any paper of the CBSE Class 12th Exam 2025, a candidate will be awarded ‘5’ grade points by securing a grade of ‘C2’.
By securing a grade of ‘C1’ in any paper of the CBSE Class 12th Exam 2025, a candidate will be awarded ‘6’ grade point in that paper.

The fee for the verification of each answer paper is INR 500. A student who is applying for the verification of marks needs to pay this amount through the proper method within the due date.
