CBSE 12 Physics Grace Marks 2025: Central Board of Secondary Education raised concern among the class 12 board examinees with out-of-syllabus questions in the Physics paper. As per teachers and students, Physics, held on Feb 21, 2025, had 3 extremely challenging questions. CBSE 12 Physics Grace Marks 2025: Major Errors in Physics Questions
Based on students' and some educators' feedback and reactions, we have provided below some of the issues detected in the CBSE 12 Physics 2025 question paper:
- Errors and complexities in questions: In question 30 of all sets, two options were found to be correct, resulting in confusion among students. The statement given in question 26 of set 55/6/2 was incomplete.
- Out-of-syllabus questions: Around 3 questions from Grouping of Resistance from different sets were not included in NCERT textbooks.
- Difficulty level of questions: Few numerical-based problems were of advanced level and not expected to be solved by class 12 level students.

According to a teacher association, complexities of questions create unnecessary confusion among examinees that can increase failure rates in Physics papers. To maintain the sanctity of board exams and promote fairness in evaluation, they demanded CBSE 12 Physics grace marks. Per reports, CBSE seems to be under extreme pressure as a Congress member shared a screenshot of out-of-syllabus topic questions and alleged CBSE playing dirty with students.
Though CBSE is still mum about the issues, hopefully, the board will address the grievance of students and take corrective measures.
