Who is eligible to participate in NEET UG Stray Vacancy Round 2024?: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) commenced the NEET UG Counselling process on August 14, 2024, for admission to MBBS and BDS courses in various participating colleges. The NEET UG Round 3 Counselling concluded on October 20, 2024, and the NEET UG Stray Vacancy Round 2024 began on October 22, 2024, with the release of the seat matrix. The NEET UG Stray Vacancy Round 2024 Registration and Payment is scheduled from October 22, 2024, to October 25, 2024, till 5:00 PM. Candidates interested in participating in the NEET MDS special stray vacancy round allotment must complete the registration as per the given deadline.

Who is Eligible to Participate in NEET UG Stray Vacancy Round 2024?

Aspirants can check if they are still eligible to take part in the NEET UG Stray Vacancy Round 2024. 

• Candidates who registered in Round 3 but could not secure a seat can participate in the NEET UG Stray Vacancy Round 2024.
• Candidates who have passed the Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English individually and scored 50% marks (40% for SC/ST/NCL/PWD categories) in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology altogether. 
• Must have a rank on the NEET UG Merit list for UG Medical Courses.

Further, candidates whose names are in the list of allotted candidates in either Centre or State cannot take part in the All India Stray Vacancy Round, and their names will be eliminated. Candidates need to do a fresh registration to participate in the NEET UG Stray Vacancy Round 2024 and pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 5,000. However, candidates registering under 15% AIQ or applying under central universities shall pay the registration fee depending on their category. The UR and EWS candidates must pay Rs 1,000, while SC, ST, OtBC, and PwD candidates will pay Rs 500. 

According to the schedule, the last date to submit the registration fee is October 25, 2024, by 3:00 PM. The choice filling and locking for NEET UG Stray Vacancy Round 2024 will be from October 22, 2024, to October 26, 2024, till 8:00 PM.
