WB ANM GNM Result 2024: Tie-Breaking Criteria

In case two or more candidates get the same marks, the tie-breaking rules will be used to decide who ranks higher. Candidates can check the below-listed tie-breaking criteria for a better understanding:

Those with fewer overall negative marks will be given preference.
If a tie exists, candidates with higher positive scores in life science subjects will be preferred.
If the tie stays the same, preference will be given to candidates with more positive scores in the physical science subject.
Next, higher scores in the English subject will be considered first.
Candidates with higher math scores will be chosen if necessary.
Next, priority will be given to those who scored higher on General Knowledge.
Those who score higher on the Logical Reasoning section will then be given preference.
Preference will be given to the combined positive scores in Physical Science and Life Science if there are still ties.
In the case that there is still a tie, candidates will be assessed according to their cumulative scores in English, Physical Science, and Life Science.
