Based on the past release trends of CBSE 12th board results and media reports, here is the expected release date of CBSE 12th Result 2025.

The CBSE Class 12th Board Results have typically been released in the mid-week of May 2025. In 2024, the CBSE class 12th results were declared on May 13 and in 2023, the results were out on May 12. This year around 17.88 lakh students have registered for the CBSE Class 12th Exams 2025 for 120 subjects. 

CBSE 12th Result 2025 | Passing Criteria

While the CBSE Results for Class 12 are yet to be released, students can check the passing criteria.

• Students must score a minimum of 33% in each subject. However, in subjects with practical and theory papers, candidates must score 33% in both. 
• As an aggregate, students need to score 33% marks in that subject to qualify for that subject.
• In terms of grades, candidates must achieve grades above E in every subject and overall, pass the board exam. 
• Any candidate who fails to achieve the minimum passing marks in the external examinations of any of the five subjects will have to appear for the compartment exams.
