WBPSC Clerkship Recruitment 2023: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying to the Clerkship post must check the eligibility criteria before filling out the application form. 

• Nationality: Citizen of India
• Educational Qualifications
  • Candidates applying must have cleared the Madhyamik exam from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or equivalent board.
  • Students should have knowledge of computers and typing 20 words per minute in English or 10 words per minute in Bengali. 
• Age Limit
  • Candidates applying for the clerkship role should be at most 40 and at least 18 years old as of Jan 1, 2023.
  • Not born before Jan 2, 1983, and after Jan 1, 2005.
  • An age relaxation of 5 years is given for SC ST candidates, and 3 years is for OBC candidates of West Bengal.
• Candidates should be able to read, write, and speak Bengali, which will be tested during the examination.
