WB NEET UG Merit List 2025: The West Bengal National Eligibility cum Entrance Test(UG) merit list is out today, August 14, 2025. Registered candidates who have verified their certificates can access the merit list PDF from the website. Inclusion in the merit list qualifies a candidate for the counselling process. The merit has been prepared by taking into account components such as NEET AIR, the accuracy of documents submitted, and the seat matrix.
Candidates whose names are included in the merit list can begin filling preferences for MBBS/BDS colleges. It is suggested to review the seat matrix, which is also declared along with the merit list, for making the right selection of colleges. WB NEET Merit List 2025: Tie Breaking Criteria
Candidates must be aware of the tie-breaking criterion adopted by the authorities to determine merit rank in West Bengal NEET UG merit list 2025, here:
- If two or more candidates secure the same marks, the first preference is given to those with higher marks in biology.
- If the tie persists, the chemistry mark is taken into account when preparing the merit list.
- If the tie still exists, students with fewer negative marks will be given a higher merit rank.
- Lastly, those candidates who are older will be given better positions compared to younger ones.
We suggest that students fill in the MBBS/BS college preferences between August 14 and 17, 2025, by logging in to the portal using required credentials. It is recommended to choose as many preferences to enhance the chances of seat allocation.
