Candidates must follow the step-by-step procedure below to apply for registration after going through the UPSC CSE 2024 notification.

1. First, visit the official website of UPSC.
2. Once on the homepage, go to the examination tab and find the Civil Services Examination section.
3. Then, tap on the CSE registration or online application link.
4. After that, fill out the UPSC CSE application form 2024.
5. Now, upload the required documents in the prescribed format.
6. Next, pay the application fee.
7. Finally, submit the UPSC Civil Services application form.
8. Last, save and download the UPSC application form and take a printout for future reference.

Note that the commission has announced a total of 1056 vacancies in the UPSC CSE 2024 notification. Further, the UPSC CSE Prelims exam will be conducted on May 26, 2024, and the Mains exam will be held on Sep 20, 2024. Furthermore, the deadline to apply for registration is Mar 5, 2024.
