UCEED 2026 Answer Key: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay will soon release the answer key for the Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design 2026. According to the schedule on the official portal, the UCEED 2026 Answer Key Link will be activated on January 20, 2026, on the official website - uceed.iitb.ac.in.
Once released, candidates will be able to check the UCEED 2026 Answer Key for Part A. It will include the correct answers to the questions asked in the examination. Exam authorities are also set to release the UCEED candidates’s Response for Part A along with the answer key. Candidates will be able to cross-check their answers and calculate their probable scores using the UCEED 2026 Answer Key and the candidate’s response sheet for Part A.
After downloading the Answer Key, candidates will check and calculate their scores. In case of any discrepancy or confusion, candidates can leave comments through their login portal. The last date for uploading comments (if any) on the Provisional Answer Key in the candidate’s portal is January 22, 2026. The portal will receive comments from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon. Candidates must support their claims by uploading the required documents as proof.

UCEED 2026 Answer Key | Marking Scheme For Part A
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay will release the UCEED 2026 Answer Key for Part A i.e., Numerical Answer Type, Multiple Select Questions, and Multiple Choice Questions. To check the answers and calculate their probable scores, candidates must refer to the marking scheme of UCEED 2026 Part A.

Here’s how the candidates will be allotted marks under the partial marking for the MSQ section:
- Full Marks +4: If candidates select all correct options and no incorrect ones.
- Partial +3: If all 4 options are correct, but candidates only chose 3 correct ones.
- Partial +2: If 3 or more options are correct, but candidates only choose 2 correct ones.
- Partial +1: If 2 or more options are correct, but candidates only choose 1 correct one.
- Zero Marks 0: If the question is left unattempted.
- Negative Marks-1: In all other cases, i.e., if any incorrect option is selected.
The UCEED 2026 exam was conducted on January 18, 2026, in a single shift from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. According to the candidate’s initial reactions, the paper was on a moderate to difficult level overall. Part A was a computer-based test divided into 3 sections: NAT, MCQ, and MSQ, whereas Part B was sketching and design aptitude.
After considering the objections against the UCEED 2026 Answer Key, the authorities will release the UCEED 2026 Result. As per the schedule, the UCEED 2026 Final Result will be declared on January 28, 2026 at 5:00 PM.
