Telangana School Holiday 3 September 2025: Will School Remain Closed?

Telangana School Holiday 3 September 2025: Several parts of the country continue to receive heavy rainfall. The weather conditions in Telangana are also worrisome. The IMD has issued orange and yellow alerts in several parts of Telangana. If the weather condition declines, the government may issue an order for a Telangana School Holiday on 3 September 2025. However, as of now, there are no such announcements made. 

According to the Indian Meteorological Department, the Nirmal, Nizamabad, J Bhupalpally, Khammam, Warangal, and Mulugu districts are under orange alert. These districts may receive very heavy rainfall followed by thunderstorms, lightning, and squalls. The state government and educational authorities will update on the school holiday if the weather conditions worsen.

Telangana School Holiday 3 September 2025 | Will School Remain Closed?

Students and parents can check the district-wise weather forecast and IIMD alerts for September 3, 2025. 

• Nirmal, Nizamabad, J Bhupalpally, Khammam, Warangal, Mulugu, Karimnagar, Hnamkonda, Pedapalle, and Mahbubabad are under orange alerts.
• The districts under orange alerts may receive very heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, lightning, and squalls.
• Adilabad, Kumram Bheem, Jagtial, Mancherial, Kama Reddy, Rajanna Sircilla, Sanga Reddy, Medak, Suryapet, Nalgonda, Sidipet, and Y.Bhuvanagiri are under yellow alert and may receive heavy rainfall. 
• Other districts like Jogulamba Gadwal, Narayanpet, Nagarkurnool,  Mahabubnagar, M.Malkajgiri, Rangareddy, and Vikrabad are also under yellow alert. However, there is no rainfall alert, but these districts may experience heavy winds and thunderstorms. 

Students and parents are advised to regularly check the official website and news channels for updates regarding the Telangana School Holiday on 3 September 2025.

Further, schools and colleges across Telangana are preparing for a long holiday from September 5 to 7, 2025. The government has declared a public holiday on September 5, 2025, for Id e Milad, on September 6, 2025, to observe Vinayaka Visarjan day, and on September 7, 2025, is a Sunday.
