Tamil Nadu School Holiday 23 October 2024: As per the recent events, certain districts of Tamil Nadu like Coimbatore, Erode, Tiruppur and Dindugal are currently experiencing severe weather conditions like heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, and lightning. As per the prediction of the Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC), a low-pressure area over the east-central Bay of Bengal is expected to evolve into a cyclonic storm, designated as Cyclone Dana, by October 23, 2024. Therefore, interested candidates must check all the details given here to know if a Tamil Nadu School Holiday 23 October 2024 will be provided.

On October 22, 2024, schools were declared a holiday in Erode due to the severe weather conditions. An official announcement for October 23 is still awaited.

• There is heavy rain in Coimbatore, Erode, Tiruppur, Nilgiris, Dharmapuri and Krishnagiri on October 22. A similar situation is likely on October 23 as well. 
• Currently, there is no update on the school holiday on October 23 and an official update is awaited. If school holiday is declared, the decision and the name of the district/ region will be updated here. 

Other districts in Tamil Nadu have not yet confirmed the school holiday for October 23, 2024, due to the constant rainfall. Therefore, candidates must note that those districts that may have a higher chance of experiencing heavy rain and severe weather conditions by early morning tomorrow may be provided with a holiday for the same.

Candidates must note that a few places in the Namakkal district have announced a Tamil Nadu School Holiday on October 22, 2024. Therefore, it is expected that the holiday may also be granted tomorrow if the weather conditions do not improve.
