SSC MTS 4th February Question Paper 2026: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducted the first day 1 of the MTS (Multi-Tasking Staff) 2026 examination today, February 4, 2026. The examination is being conducted across the country in four shifts, and Shift 1 concluded at 10:30 AM, followed by Shift 2 at 1:30 PM. The exam is split into two sessions: Session 1 (Maths & Reasoning) includes 40 questions of 120 marks and no negative marking, and Session 2 (GK & English) includes 50 questions of 150 marks with a negative marking of 1 mark for every incorrect answer.
According to the candidate’s reviews and initial response, the shift 1 paper was of a moderate level. In GK, questions were heavily focused on current affairs. Reasoning was of an easy level and included standard topics like Syllogism, Coding-Decoding, and Seating Arrangements.
