This year, there has been an increase in the number of colleges that were listed in the rank list. India had a total of 69 Universities ranked, only second to mainland China with 101 in Asia. The 69 universities made a total of 424 entries across the across 55 academic disciplines and five faculty areas. IIT Delhi became the university with the most number of entries at 30 and IIT Bombay and IIT Kharagpur with the 2nd and 3rd highest number of entries at 28 and 27, respectively.
