Odisha NMMS Exam Registration 2025: The Directorate of TE and SCERT, Government of Odisha, started  registration for Odisha NMMS Exam 2025 on August 16, 2025. According to the official notification, the Odisha NMMS Exam Registration 2025 closes today, September 16, 2025. Interested and eligible candidates must complete the registration for the National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) before the due date expires. 

Further, after completing the Odisha NMMS Exam Registration 2025, candidates must take its printout and submit it along with the requisite documents (Caste certificate, Income Certificate, and more) to the concerned Headmasters/Headmistresses. According to the schedule, the last date to submit the countersigned hard copies is September 25, 2025.

Here are some important instructions for Odisha NMMS Registration 2025.

• To complete the registration, candidates are not required to pay registration fees. 
• To be eligible, the general and SEBC candidates must have secured at least 55% marks, and SC/ST candidates must have scored at least 45% marks in class VII annual examination. 
• The annual parental income from all sources must not exceed Rs. 3,50,000. 
• Students studying in Government Residential Schools, where all expenses are borne by the government, are not eligible for this scholarship.
• While submitting the countersigned hard copies of the application form to the Headmaster/Headmistress, students must attach the required documents for verification. 
• These documents include: Caste Certificate (Recent) (If applicable), Disability Certificate (UDID Card) for Physically Handicapped candidates (if applicable), income certificate of the parents for all candidates (Current year).
• Students who belong to the National Food Security Act-2013 (NFSA) / State Food Security Scheme (SFSS) must also provide the documents.

This year, the Directorate of Teacher Education and SCERT has invited applications for 3314 National Means-cum- Merit Scholarships distributed among 30 districts. The Odisha NMMS Exam  2025 will be held on December 7, 2025. The exam will consist of 2 papers, the MAT and SAT, each of 90 minutes. Selected candidates shall receive a scholarship of Rs. 1000.00 per month for four years, i.e., from Class IX to Class XII.
