NEST 2024 Registration Ongoing: Check Eligibility Criteria Required to Apply

NEST 2024 Registration: NISER and UM-DAE CBS have started the registration process for NEST 2024. Candidates interested in appearing for the exam can apply for the NEST 2024 Registration at the official website- nestexam.in.

Candidates willing to sit for this examination must check the eligibility criteria before filling up the NEST 2024 application form. All candidates must fulfill the required NEST 2024 eligibility criteria to avoid rejection of candidature at any stage of the admission process.

NEST 2024 Registration: Eligibility Criteria

NEST is a national-level entrance exam organized to provide admission into the 5-year integrated M.Sc. course in basic sciences. The complete eligibility criteria are given below for candidates to get an idea before completing the NEST 2024 registration process:

1. For General and OBC categories, the candidate's DOB should be on or after August 01, 2004, and 5 years relaxation is given to ST/ SC/ PwD category.
2. Candidates must have passed their 10+2 examination with 55-60% aggregate marks in the science stream in the years 2022 or 2023. Appearing candidates can also apply.

Candidates have to answer questions from the four basic science subjects, that is, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology in the NEST 2024 exam. According to the new exam pattern, they will be selected based on marks secured in the top three out of four sections. The last date to apply for the NEST 2024 Registration is May 31, 2024.
