Maharashtra TET 2025 Paper Leak Racket: Maharashtra Police detained 18 people involved in a TET paper leak racket. The Teacher Eligibility Test to recruit primary and upper primary teachers was held on November 23, 2025, at designated test centres. On the morning of the examination, five candidates who were supposed to appear for the examination were found in a furniture shop in Songe Village of Kagal Thesil waiting to receive question papers.

Maharashtra TET 2025 Paper Leak Racket Busted by Crime Branch
A joint team of the Crime Branch and Murgid Police conducted a raid to bust the paper leak scandal. Five candidates were found at the premises of a furniture shop early in the morning on the exam day. When police officials questioned, they confessed that Rahul Patil was supposed to provide them with TET question papers for Rs 3 Lakhs.
Patil and two others have been detained, and upon further investigation, Key accused Mahesh Gaikawad is also arrested. So far, around 18 people have been detained by the police. According to an official, with the progress in the Mahat TET paper leak case, more arrests are expected. The investigation team is verifying teh transactions linked to the scandal.
