KCET Round 1 Allotment 2025: The Karnataka Examination Authority has scheduled the publication of the provisional seat allotment on August 1, 2025. After the mock allotment, candidates were given a chance to make necessary edits and change the order of filled choices to enhance their chances of allotment. The provisional allotment has been prepared considering the last locked choices by the candidates.
Based on the allotted course and college, the selected candidates can make a choice. There will be four options available to the students for taking the next steps in the admissions process. When Will the KCET Round 1 Seat Allotment Release?
Karnataka Common Entrance Test Round 1 counselling is underway. Mock allotment was out on July 25, 2025, and students were allowed to edit options till July 29, 2025. Check the table for the date for KCET Round 1 allotment 2025:

Type of Choices After KCET Round 1 Allotment 2025
With the declaration of KCET Round 1 seat allotment 2025, the candidates are required to make a decision and select one out of four options. Discover the kind of opinions that candidates need to select to move ahead in the admission process:
- Choice 1: The first choice can be selected by candidates who are satisfied with teh allocated set. These candiadets must pay the fee, download the allotment order, and report to the college. It must be noted that these candidates won’t be allowed to participate in subsequent rounds.
- Choice 2: Candidates who are satisfied with the current seat offer but are aspiring to look for better options in the next round. They can pay the fee and wait release of the next allotment.
- Choice 3: The students who are not satisfied with the seat offer and want to participate in the next round. Such candidates need not pay any fee as they don’t wish to withhold the seat.
- Choice 4: If any candidate is not satisfied with the seat offer and doesn’t wish to continue to be a part of the counselling process, they can select this option.
Once the choice is selected, candidates who have confirmed their KCET Round 1 seat by paying fees can further visit the allotted college to complete the document verification process.
